Mahaska Health Partnership Occupational Health Services provides a range of occupational medicine, rehabilitation and wellness services to support and enhance the health and well-being of employees across Mahaska county and surrounding areas.

For your convenience, we make employee physical exams, employee health screenings, worker’s compensation injury, medical care and wellness services available both on our campus and at your worksite.

Physical Exams and Screenings

Mahaska Health Partnership offers these services to support employers, employees and Mahaska county community members in meeting their work requirements, as well as enjoying their hobbies.

  • FAA Airmen Medical Certification Exams
  • DOT/bus driver physicals and drug screens
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Hazmat physicals
  • Audiograms (hearing test)
  • Spirometry (lung function)
  • Vision testing

Work-Related Injuries/Illnesses

In spite of the best safety efforts, injury and illness are part of the workplace. In the event that your employee suffers an on-the-job injury or illness, we work with you to ensure medical treatment is provided to facilitate recovery, while also identifying work tasks employees can do while recovering. 

Available work-related injury services include:
  • Workers’ compensation injury care
  • Return to work assessments
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Local care with specialist referral
